Pasta Cream Sauce

This is originally Austrian food. Once we visited Austria and were served this delicious meal for dinner. It is a good food during cold days.




For 4 people
Serving time : 30 minutes.



Materials :

500g Pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
Water to boil
1 teaspoon olive oil


250g turkey (tacchino) or pork (maiale), cut into cubes or slice thinly
200g mushroom
1onion (bawang bombay), slice thinly
2pcs garlic, chopped thinly 


250g cream (panna crema)
150cc water
25cc vodka
1/2 teaspoon bouillon maggie
Salt and pepper

1 spoon vegetable oil to fry

Spring onion (scallion/daun bawang yang daunnya kecil2 dan panjang ), chopped thinly


Cooking Direction :

Put vegetable oil in a pan, heat it up on a medium fire.
Add garlic and onion, fry until yellowish and smell good.
Add turkey or pork, fry and stir.
Add mushroom, fry for 3 minutes until the meat turns a bit yellowish and the mushrooms a bit shrivel.
Add water, stir to mix, put the lid of the pan on and let the mixture boils until the meats well cooked and soften.
Add salt, pepper, boullion and cream into the mixture. Stir gently let it simmer on small fire for another 10 minutes, stir gently once in a while to make sure the soup doesn't overflow.
Add vodka, stir to mix evenly, put the lid of the pan on. Turn off the fire.


Put water in a pan and let it boils.
Add pasta, let it simmer on medium fire and stir it gently to make sure the pasta doesn't stick to each other.
Cover the pan with its lid. Cook pasta until 'al dante' (medium / setengah matang).
Turn off the fire, remove the water and drain the pasta. 
After the pasta cool down, add olive oil and stir to mix.


Serving Direction :

Put some pasta on the plate.
Pour the salsa mixture on, then garnish with chopped spring onion.
Serve it hot.
